Don't let
paperwork hold up the job. Done right, back in days, not weeks.
Long gone are the days when the contractor had to verify every item by hand. Beem reads the drawings and the spec book and finds every item in your action submittals, each with its product data sheet. Once compiled, one of our SMEs verifies it. That is the first look.
The second is yours: every item laid out, with the flexibility to pick the brands you prefer. Beem scans the spec and project constraints to list what is allowable for each material, and the pick from that list is yours, with the option to attach alternates. Only then is it ready to download, or to send to the responsible parties.
That is what protects you. You saw every line, so you can trust what you send. What's approved is what you buy, and you just saved weeks on your project timeline.
Founding offer: your first submittal is free, on one of your real jobs.
The machine at work · pilot builds, to date
Who this is for
Electrical, plumbing, or mechanical.
Those three are open now, and every other trade is on the list. If the four below read like your job, the rest of this page is written for you.
Shop items and custom fabrication parts sit outside this. Sourcing means finding the published product data sheet for a product, and a part your fabricator builds to order does not have one. Jobs with no drawing set or spec book to read from are out too.
The hold-up
You won the job. Nothing ships until this comes back approved.
Every trade has long-lead items.
- Bid awardedDone
- Submittal in reviewWaiting
- Material releaseBlocked
- FabricationBlocked
- InstallBlocked
Everything right of the submittal waits on one approval, and that approval belongs to the architect and the GC. The package is the part you control. Send it right and early, and the lead time works for you. Late, you pay crew to stand next to material that has not shipped.
Complete packages
Cover sheet, table of contents, every item in your action submittals with its product data sheet behind it, the way your reviewer wants it. Verified by an SME before it reaches you.
What estimating missed
First time your material list gets reconciled against the drawings and spec, line by line. Anything the bid skipped surfaces here, while it is still a fix and not a change order.
Ordering, already sorted
What's approved is what you buy. Download the same package split by vendor, so each supplier gets one clean list. Custom items come with fields for length, quantity and the rest.
The second look is yours
Every item laid out, your preferred brand picked from the allowable list, alternates attached where you want them, the sheet marked by you. Then download it and send it to the responsible parties under your company name.
Proof, not promises
Two looks before it leaves your desk.
Long gone are the days of verifying every item by hand. Beem compiles the package from your drawings and spec book, one of our SMEs takes the first look, you take the second, and it goes out while the lead time still has room.
We read your drawings and spec.
Every item in your action submittals, listed and scoped by spec section, each with its product data sheet. Schedules, legends, keyed notes: nothing gets skipped because it sat on page 60.
- Fixture, panel and equipment schedules
- Brands-accepted lists and substitution rules
- Works from spec book, drawings, or both
An SME takes the first look.
Beem scans the spec and the project constraints and builds the allowable list for each material: every brand the spec permits, with its product data sheet from our library of 5,754. Voltage, listing, finish, mounting, brands accepted, each checked and cited. Then one of our SMEs goes through the whole package before it reaches you.
- The exact pages that cover your product, selected from the full catalog
- Pass, review or fail on every requirement, traced to its spec paragraph
Each item is read against more than the paragraph that names it: what the drawings show it has to do, the NEC lines that govern the product type, and the brand and material limits the project sets. Anything that does not line up is flagged and held for correction instead of compiled into the package, because a wrong product caught here is an edit, and the same one caught after approval is a correction on your dollar.
The second look is yours.
Every item laid out. Pick the brand you prefer from the allowable list, the one you can actually get at the price and lead time you want, attach alternates where you want a fallback, and mark the sheet. Then download the package or send it to the responsible parties. What comes back approved is what you buy.
- Alternates attach under the item they back up
- Flagged items come with the reason, so you decide instead of guessing
Send one job and see it.
Your drawings and spec book come back as every item in your action submittals, a product data sheet against each, verified by an SME. First package is free, on real work.

What is the wait costing you?
A resubmittal is weeks, and the correction is on your dollar. Review you wait through again, crew out of sequence, a lead-time clock that will not start until approval is back. Two sliders, your job.

Where we are
Early, and specific about it.
Beem has taken two buildings end to end: a commercial office building and a multi-purpose facility, electrical and plumbing on both. The counter at the top of this page was counted off those two audits. Nobody estimated it.
There are no case studies yet. The founding packages are how we get them, which is why the first one is free and why we ask to put your results on record.
